The House of Representatives Wednesday, June 12 moved against the recent ban on the importation of vehicles older than five years.
They unanimously agreed that President Obasanjo should review the decision of his administration on the issue.
Their concern was that the decision, instead of ameliorating the suffering of Nigerians would worsen the level of poverty in the land.
They said the ban should cover vehicles manufactured between 10 and 15 years instead of five years.
