I have been doing childcare in my rural Oregon home for over 10 years. I started watching kids for friends and aquaintances who knew that I was home with my own children. I'm sure many other childcare providers have had similar experience. I quickly realized that my little *babysitting* job was becoming more than just a favor to friends. The IRS said so too! I had a business before I realized it and decided to make it official by registering with the state and the local USDA agency. I then began to go to every class and workshop that I could find to learn to better meet the needs of these little people entrusted in my care.
