What can I say? Best album of 2001 with flying colors! This song has some piano in it,
so I've given you those parts for guitar. Easy song, played in Drop-D and then down a
half step. So the tuning is: low-to-high - (Db-Ab-Db-Gb-Bb-Eb). Huge thanks to
Lorne (lornem16@hotmail.com) for this song. Any questions, u send to him. Have fun!

CHORDS: (Remember, tuning is Drop-D and then down a half-step)

E5 - (222xxx)
G5 - (555xxx)
D5 - (004xxx)
C5 - (x355xx)

INTRO: (This is piano transcribed for guitar)

Eb|------------------------------------------------------|
Bb|----0--0-----------------------0--0-------------------|
Gb|---------0-------------0-------------0--------------0-|
Db|-2----------4--4--4--4------2-----------4--4--4--4----|
Ab|------------------------------------------------------|
Db|------------------------------------------------------|

VERSE 1: (Here are the harmonics.. Bass plays "E-G-D-C" in verses)

NOTE-to use harmonics, touch the exact FRET-STICK without pushing down, and pluck)

Eb|---------<7>-----------------<12>-|
Bb|-<7>-----------------<7>----------|
Gb|-----------------<5>--------------|
Db|----------------------------------|
Ab|----------------------------------|
Db|----------------------------------|

(It starts with one...)
One thing, I don't know why it doesn't even matter how hard you try,
Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme to explain in due time
(All I know...)
Time is a valuable thing, watch it fly by as the pendulum swings
Watch it count down to the end of the day, the clock ticks life away
(It's so unreal...)
Didn't look out below, watch the time go right out the window,
Trying to hold on, but didn't even know, wasted it all just to
(Watch you go................)
I kept everything inside and even though I tried, it all fell apart,
What it meant to me will eventually be a memory of a time when I tried..

CHORUS: (Distortion, with the power chords)

	   E5 G5
I tried so hard, and got so far,

	   D5 C5
But in the end, it doesn't even matter.

	 E5 G5
I had to fall, to lose it all,

	   D5 C5
But in the end, it doesn't even matter..

VERSE 2: (Play just like verse 1)

One thing I don't know why, it doesn't even matter how hard you try,
Keep that in mind I designed this rhyme to remind myself how
(I tried so hard...)
In spite of the way you were mocking me, acting like I was part of your property,
Remembering all the times you've fought with me, I'm surprised it
(Got so far...)
Things aren't the way they were before, you wouldn't even recognize me anymore,
Not that you knew me back then, but it all comes back to me
(In the end.................)
You kept everything inside and even though I tried it all fell apart
What it meant to me will eventually be a memory of a time when I tried..

CHORUS: (Play like first chorus)

I tried so hard, and got so far,
But in the end, it doesn't even matter.
I had to fall, to lose it all,
But in the end, it doesn't even matter.

BRIDGE: (Play the intro part)

I've put my trust, in you, pushed as far as I can go,
For all this, there's only one thing you should know....

	    E5 G5 D5 C5
I'VE PUT MY TRUST, IN YOU, PUSHED AS FAR AS I CAN GO!
	E5 G5 D5	C5
FOR ALL THIS, THERE'S ONLY ONE THING YOU SHOULD KNOW.........

CHORUS: (Play like previous choruses)

	   E5 G5
I tried so hard, and got so far,

	   D5 C5
But in the end, it doesn't even matter.

	 E5 G5
I had to fall, to lose it all,

	   D5 C5
But in the end, it doesn't even matter..

OUTRO: (Play the intro part again, with a weird climb at the end)

Eb|------------------------------------------------------|
Bb|----0--0-----------------------0--0-------------------|
Gb|---------0-------------0-------------0--------------0-|
Db|-2----------4--4--4--4------2-----------4--4--4--4----|
Ab|------------------------------------------------------|
Db|------------------------------------------------------|

And there you have it! This is a brilliant song off a great CD. Very easy to play too.
If you have questions, send them to Lorne, at (lornem16@hotmaio.com). Thanks guys!
