hardcore is what i really love.  it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.
go to a show, and you will see why.
i won't sit here and name all the bands i like--i know you don't really care.  to be totally honest, if you know me you have somewhere along the line have listened to what i like.
(to those who are ambiguous on the matter...i typically like to restrain people in my car and MAKE them listen to my music.   nikita and sara know what i mean) eh. they end up liking it in the end.
mrs. gold made us read Brave New World, and i ended up really liking it.  Hollie told me to read the Fountain Head a while ago, and to this day, i believe it has some of the best quotes.  Ayn Rand is amazing.
"people think that a liar gains a victory over his victim.  what i've learned is that a lie is an act of self-abdication, because one surrender's one's reality to the person to whom one lies, making that person one's master, condemning oneself from then on to faking the sort of reality that person's view requires to be faked.  and if one gains the immediate purpose of the lie--the price one pays is the destruction of that which the gain was intended to serve.  the man who lies to the world, is the world's slave from then on."
it is sad.  too many of you have lost yourself.  i hope someone is helping you.
for those who actually read:
and for those of you that don't read, i suggest you do.  maybe you will comprehend a little better.
Hannibal:  First Principles, Clarice.  Read Marcus Aurelis.  Of each particular thing ask:  What is in in itself?  What is its nature?  What does he do, this man you seek?
Clarice:  He kills women...
Hannibal:  No!  That is incidental.  What is the first and principal thing he does, what need does he serve by killing?
Clarice:  Anger, social resentment, sexual frustration...
Hannibal:  No, he covets.  That's his nature.  And how do we begin to covet, Clarice?  Do we seek out things to covet?  Make an effort to answer.
Clarice:  No.  We just...
Hannibal:  No.  Precisely.  We begin by coveting what we see everyday.  Don't you feel eyes moving over your body, Clarice?  I hardly see how you couldn't.  And don't your eyes move over the things you want?
Which AFI song are you?
