Hi, my name is Bill Eidson. I am a graduate of the School of Civil Engineering and the Graduate School at Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN. I hold both Bachelor (Purdue, 1999) and Master (Purdue, 2001) of Science in Civil Engineering degrees and I am a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Illinois and I am certified as a PTOE (Professional Traffic Operations Engineer™).
I am married to a wonderful and beautiful woman named Kelly. We were married in 2001. To earn my keep, I work as a Traffic Operations Engineer in Rosemont, IL. I spend most of my working hours doing field work, writing reports, and crunching numbers on the computer supporting traffic signal design, construction, and timing.
I spend my free time working on the house, working with the Boy Scouts of America as Lodge Adviser for the Order of the Arrow and as an Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 69 in Glenview, playing trombone in the Glenview Concert Band, participating in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, hanging out with my friends and spending time with my lovely wife and our young son.
