Structure Fire at 404 E. Main St.  -  March 5, 2005

Upon WVFD's arrival on scene at 9:04am, heavy smoke and fire was showing from the rear and attic areas.  Mutual aid was requested from Columbus Fire Dept. This picture was taken 14 minutes after WVFD's arrival.  Pictures by Tom Dietz.

An aggressive interior attack on the fire is attempted.

Because the roof began showing signs of collapse, firefighters were brought out of the house.

No one was injured in the fire; unfortunately, the house and its contents were destroyed.
