I'm 19 years old and going to be a sophomore at Millikin University in Decatur, IL. My home away from school is a small river town by the name of Quincy. Yay! Well, while Quincy was, is, and forever will be the most boring place on the face of the earth, I can't knock it too much. :) Decatur's not so bad; I've found that college is a wild trip and that I should just hold on tight for the ride. It's interesting for sure! I'd recommend the "poor college student" lifestyle to anyone.
Well what else? I've declared English writing as my major, and so far so good [or, at least my teachers have liked what they've seen thus far]. I'm thinking that a minor in religious studies shall be in order as well, all because of that wondrous program many call TEC. :) (www.greatrivertec.org to you, though.) Life's fantastic right now, and I'm just any 19-year-old woman finding her way while enjoying the ride.
I have many many many interests. :) I'm a music freak, as many of you already know, so if you ever want or need music advice, I'm your woman! (For everything except country, that is.) My favorite bands/artists include Our Lady Peace, Live, the Eels, Ben Folds Five, and various classic rock (yay for Beatles, the Who, the Doors, etc.) Ooh, and writing is my babay! (I don't claim to be good or anything, it's just something that I've always loved to do. You can be the judge of my shiznit.) I'm an extremely easygoing person who doesn't mind a good party or just staying in with some good movies or video or computer games. Hey, whatever's affordable at the time, yo! Hehe.

You've got the pictures, which include pictures of yours truly, the Ren and Stimpy show, which is one of my favorite cartoons, and hopefully I'll have the chance to find more Final Fantasy VII pictures, and will be able to update some Garfield pictures into it as well.
Then you've got my hidden forest of words, which includes all the poems and short stories that I've written. Writing is one of my favorite things to do, so why not share my works with y'all? :) I hope you do enjoy them; it's seemed like I've matured a bunch with my writings. I'd really enjoy any opinions or comments you may have about them.
