Meatloaf  In  Round  Bread
1 round loaf French bread

1 can evaporated milk

1 sm. onion, cut up

1 lb. ground meat

1 egg, slightly beaten

1 1/4 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. pepper

I use onion and garlic powder
Cut thin slice from top of bread (save).  Scoop out the inside of the loaf.  Measure 2 cups of bread crumbs and soak in the milk 10 minutes.  Add onion, green pepper, beef, egg, salt and pepper. 

                                                         Mix well. 

Fill bread case with mixture.  Put the top slice back in place.  Place on lightly greased pan.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes. 

Serve with hot tomato sauce or salsa.
