So that's Alexander Einich - me.

I wasn't born with that name, though. Ein ich means "one I" in German, and that's what I am. But since I started creating characters, stories and even a small world, I thought I might as well create myself a little...

My stories are all about ideas. I love getting ideas. Especially in fundamental philosophy - you know, answers to the "Why are we?", "How are we?", "What should we do?" or "What's going to happen?" kind of questions.

So do my characters.

There are lots of existing answers to these questions; the knack is to find new ones that make sense - that follow a flawless logical thought process. Far from easy (especially because of the flawless part), but it's fun trying.

Some answers are common sense. Some need a bit of knowledge (fortunately, there's internet). Some answers require belief, but those aren't my cup of tea. I prefer those for which understanding is enough. I'd rather have understanding without belief ("I see the thought process, but it's impossible") than belief without understanding ("I don't understand how, but it is true").

I started writing down my ideas at age 13. Not what I did, not my feelings - just my ideas. Story ideas, invention ideas, solutions to problems... And when you write them down, you get more, I think, because you want your "collection" to grow.

I now have 14 booklets and a foot-high stack of papers filled with them.

98% of them are useless.

With ideas, quantity doesn't count. Only quality does. I don't regret my method, however, because it makes you think, and eventually quality comes.

I hope one day it'll come for me.

PS: I'm currently writing a movie script. I'm uploading it as it progresses, but I won't post it before it's finished.
