The sisters of Alpha Sigma Omega and the sisters of Epsilon Delta Omicron left their organizations, and joined together to form the Sorority Special Interest Group (S.I.G.). These women were: Debra Azzarello, Michele Disalvo, Mary Drozd, Jenna Esposito, Mary Fitzpatrick, Dawn Hugo, Deena Maimone, Jennifer Norton, AnneMarie Petrizzo, Leslie Posten, Teresa Ruscitti, Carey Taylor, Simone Toledo, Evelyn Vasquez and Jennifer Wilton.
Officers were elected: President - Dawn Hugo, Vice President - Carey Taylor,
Secretary - Teresa Ruscitti, and Treasurer - Simone Toledo.

S.I.G. requested the Panhellenic Council's permission to expand and search for a
national sorority. The request was denied. The council questioned the groups sisterhood.
November 4, 1992
S.I.G.'s first new member party was held. Six new members were accepted:
Alexandra Anastasio, Jennifer Cody, Debra Kessler, Lisa Palotta, Stephanie Prendergast and
Jennifer Strype.
January 7, 1993
S.I.G felt that they had proved their sisterhood and asked the Panhellenic Council for a revote.
The vote was scheduled for March 7, 1993.

The Panhellenic Council gave S.I.G. permission to search
for a national sorority.
April 5, 1993
S.I.G.'s second New Memeber Party was held.

Closed Rush took place as interveiws were given to perspective members.
Eleven women were accepted: Gina Battista, Terry Chang, Michele Chicola, Lisa Dass,
Christie DosSantos, Suzanne Dublancia, Laura Graham, Veronica Haven, Kerri Killea,
Francine Spinowitz and Jessica Thonpson.

Alpha Sigma Alpha pinned the sisters of S.I.G. and The Wagner College
Colony of Alpha Sigma Alpha was formed.

The Wagner College Colony was inducted as the Zeta Theta Chapter of
Alpha Sigma Alpha!!!
