Most people didn't know what to think about the beautiful skater on the ice. After a disapointing short program in the 1997 World Championships, Lu Chen finished in 25th place. Only two years before, she had won this competition...what had happened? Injurys and self doubts had plauged this wonderful skater, and some even wrote her off saying she's never skate well again.
Lulu, as she is affectionally known as, was determined to prove them wrong. After changing coaches, she threw herself into training, and finished third at the 1998 Olympics. Her performance even brought some to tears. She is now delighting audiences everywhere by touring with Stars On Ice.
