Make Me Up!
I think that make-up, when the right colors are chosen and applied correctly, can make anyone look their best. NOW LET ME MAKE THIS PAINFULLY CLEAR. I DO NOT BELIEVE OR SUPPORT WEARING MAKE UP TO MAKE YOU LOOK DIFFERENT. IT IS MAKE-UP. IT'S PURPOSE IS TO ENHANCE WHAT YOU HAVE, ADD TO WHAT IS THERE, MAKE UP THE DIFFERENCE. IT CAN NOT AND WILL NOT MAKE YOU A NEW PERSON.
Now that we have that out of the way, choosing your colors is about 3 key things.
Choosing colors that are right for your skin tone
Choosing colors that fit a majority of the clothes in your closet
Choosing what fits your personality
That is all it takes. I have Adult skin. That simply means that my skin has decided that has reached a point in its life that it can do whatever it feels, whenever it feels and there is nothing I can do about that. If you have skin like that, I feel for you. But for people with skin that is more on the normal side, you will find it easier to purchase make-up that you like and that likes your skin.

Colors-
I wear brown on a regular basis. When I am not wearing brown, I am usually wearing navy blue.
All of my make-up coordinates with these two colors. I like darker lipsticks as opposed to lighter ones. If your skin is darker, light colors will make it look darker. If you have lighter, or paler skin, dark colors will make it look _____. That is right, paler. If you have not ever worn any make up before, visit clique to see what they recommend for you.
Bobby Brown Cosmetics, (no connection to Whitney).
Bonne Bell, a leader, the first skin care, (and actually the best,) I bought was from this company, experience for yourself.
L'orel Cosmetics are nice too, especially the mattique foundation.
Revlon, to me makes the best lipstick in the business. Anything you can find in a dept. store, they usually have. CHEAPER, price wise, but the quality is matching if not superior.
