I feel broken
Shattered and torn
Love was supposed to be there
And now it is never more

My heart rips slowly apart
Tears fall gently down my face
I feel you near yet you are so far
My life is not the same without you

Must I really move on
Can't the hurts be mended
Will there ever be love again
All questions that are unanswered
All the answers I fear to know

A brief glimpse of you
The things that you gave me
A picture, the words, and the love that was given
All these things are hurtful now

Memories of the time we shared
The help we gave one another
Inspirations were there
My heart is now shattered and torn
