Knight In Shining Armor
Gallantly he rode in to save his maiden
She sat in a garden not knowing the danger
The battle was raging in a field nearby
He knew if he didn't get to her
She would be gone to him forever
His heart had almost stopped beating
With just that thought
Galloping as fast as it could
Carrying it's master to the fair maiden
Just as he caught sight of her
A warrior appeared
His heart sank and he trembled
NO! don't take her away
Jumping from the still moving horse
Running with sword drawn
Seeing the fear in her eyes
With one smooth stroke
The danger was gone
He placed her upon the horse
Swung up behind her
Taking her to safety
His breathing calmed
As he held her in his arms
His fair maiden was safe
Knowing he would never let her
Out of his sight again!
