The simple things you do
Are what endear me to you
The sound of your voice
Your laugh so infectious
The joy you bring to me
Every night I long to be near you
So many miles separate us
And yet it's as if you are here
The sound of you serenading
Fills my heart and soul
No greater joy could be felt
Than to have you here beside me
To hold you in my arms
Letting you know you are truly dear
It's the simple things you are made of
That draw me to you

His rugged appearance
The sexy smile upon his face
Teasing caresses from his work-roughened hands
Tingling down her spine
The tickle of his beard upon her cheeks
Things she misses of him.....
Tears of lonliness spilling from her eyes
Falling upon the pillow that he once laid
His scent lingers still.....
So much distance to travel
Pain to be conquered
Love to build and hearts to repair
This "simple man" has invaded her soul
