Most of the following I've adopted from Master and Apprentince on story
submissions..

I'd like to request that authors follow these guidelines when they submit stories
to me. It will make MY life easier as archivist, and it will also be very helpful for readers if you provide all the requested information and follow the format guidelines. Failure to follow these guidelines will slow down the process of getting your stories archived.

The following is suggested information to include before your story. I'm won't reject stories not following this format, but realize that including all the requested information will make both the archivist (me) and readers happy.

* Title: Story title

* Author: . Include your email address HERE if you wish it
to be made available on the archive page for feedback!

* Category. Please list any and all of the following
categories which best fit your story: 

Humor/Parody
Alternate-Universe 
Hurt/Comfort
Angst
Plot-What-Plot
Action/Adventure
First-Time
Fetish/Kink
S/M
Slash
Point of View
Romance
Poetry
Drama

* Rating: G to NC-17...to your best judgment. Unless you are opposed to ratings systems, which I understand some people object to.

* Warnings: please note here any content that might not
be to all readers liking, for instance: rape, character death,
graphic violence, graphic sex, violent sex. If you are afraid
giving a warning will ruin the surprise in a story, then just
caution that there may be some rough/intense material ahead.

* Spoilers: If the story is set during or after a certain episode,
you might want to indicate this to warn those readers who
haven't had the chance to see that episode yet.

* Summary: A brief one or two-line summary or intro to the
story is MUCH appreciated. This will help readers know what
type of story to expect, and it will save you from having
to suffer with whatever summary I have to come up with :-)

* Feedback: state whether or not you would like feedback.

Warnings: character death
Spoilers: this takes place post "Judgement Day", so proceed cautiously
   if you haven't seen the episode!
Summary: Xena faces a evil entity that she has met

Submit stories in HTML code.

Submit stories as attachments or in Word, Wordperfect or other word-processing file formats. I can open these attachments
and this will be fine for now. I have Microsoft Word 97
and Microsoft Works. Notepad is also acceptable.

Double-space between paragraphs. Simply indenting
the paragraphs often isn't enough--tabs can get swallowed,
it's easier to read with a space between paragraphs, and
it makes life easier.
