William John Arnold, born at Cambridge 13 Jan 1843, died at Arnold's Bridge, Vic on 5 May 1896 aged 53, of pneumonia following influenza. He wed 25 Jan 1871 at Tarnagulla C of E to Sarah Cundall, born in Yorkshire 1853 died 21 Nov 1930 aged 77, daughter of Hannah Rockett and John Cundall. Sarah married (2) to Henry Edward Cockayne, called Edward, and she died at Eaglehawk. In 1981, when I checked up on the cousins, I found William and Sarah's 10 children had given them 38 grandchildren, 107 great grandchildren and 177 g'g'grandchildren. |
| We are now tracing the sixth and onward generation bearing the Arnold Surname. I have no idea how many carry forward the Arnold surname. I know Albert's Wesley has a son Bruce John with a son David John - the ninth in the line of Arnolds. and tell me if I left you out. | |
