Wagglen

Samuel Wagland wed Dec 1848 to Louisa Green, Vol 10 page 665, in Langport district, Somerset

Dear Elizabeth,
I have been researching the Wagland surname as my 3G grandfather Mark Wagland (1838-1873) was born in Babcary, Somerset. One of the books I have found that mention the Wagland's is Florence Chuk (1987) The Somerset Years.
In Florence's book there is a reference to Samuel Wagland and Louisa Green arriving on the Sir George Seymour to Port Henry, Victoria, on 14 May 1849. Samuel was 24 and Louisa was 19. Their son, George Seymour Wagland was born on 16 Jan 1849 aboard the ship.
In the Babcary marriages list that I have received from another researcher, Samuel and Louisa married on 6 Nov 1848 in Babcary.
I also have details of Samuel's parents, Daniel Wagland and Mary Fricker if you would like them.

Joseph Nehemiah Webster wed 1856 to Lucinda Ellen Lack at Presbyterian Church Richmond and lived in the Goulburn area of NSW

My dad's mother was Sarah Frances Webster, who married James Stevenson on 30 Mar 1886, at Blayney NSW.
Joseph & Lucinda had 10 children and no 9 was reg. as Elizabeth Maria, born 21 Apr 1876 at Dubbo NSW. Henry was no 10 reg. as Henry Parry Lack. born 27 Nov 1878, although the NSWBD@M states 1879 no 20250 ( I have copies of both these Birth certs.) I have been collecting info. on my families for several years now and most of what I have is on A4 pages.

I should mention that Joseph & Lucinda were married by William Ross on 26 Feb 1856 at The Scots Church, Goulburn NSW. I have a copy of the Church Marriage Cert. So far we dont have much on Henry P L except when he was born and that he died in Melbourne Vic. If you are able to, could you please let me know when and where he was Married to Hetta Tussup, and details of any children, and when and where they were divorced, and when and where they died. Hope I am not asking for too much.
The net sure is a good way of contacting others who are researching the same Ancestors. All told I probably have about 100 A4 pages on the Websters.
