Thirty Days to Boston Audio                                                                    Goodnight Sun Audio
An Explanation:

Wellington Record co-founder Brian McDonough never could rest content playing just one style of music, so he formed two bands Most of the songs are the same for each of bands, it's just the style in which they are played. Goodnight Sun is in the acoustic folk rock style, while Thirty Days is a jump-out-of-your-seats rock group.

A History:

Thirty Days to Boston started with Nic Koziolek and Brian McDonough both singing and playing guitar. The first couple shows were just the two of them on acoustic guitars and the lead vocals were split between them, depending on who wrote the song. After about 4 months of writing and playing acoustic shows, the two decided to try a full band sound. They added members from other Wellington bands to make their full band debut on June 7, 2003, at the 400 Bar in Minneapolis, MN. The sound went over well and the two of them decided to continue playing full band for the remainder of the summer, but the acoustic shows were still missed inside the hearts of these singer/songwriters.  The kidnapping of Nic Koziolek by out-state New York education was the catalyst for Goodnight Sun. While Nic was off at school, Brian took the opportunity to go back to the acoustic shows that started Thirty Days to Boston and went under the name "Goodnight Sun."

The Present:

Thirty Days to Boston continues to rock the Minneapolis/St. Paul and Nic joins when he is in Minnesota.. Brian usually throws together a set of 3 or 4 other musicians to play the live show. Goodnight Sun continues to play coffee houses and small clubs around the midwest area.
