Dear Hinken Fans,

 

We are very saddened to announce that the release of our debut EP, “Love,” has been cancelled. Yes, cancelled. Not suspended, not postponed, not put on hold, but cancelled. The decision comes after three of the most gut-wrenching and sleepless days we’ve ever experienced.

 

There’s a lot to the story, but the catalyst for our cancellation of “Love” is that our manufacturer did not provide us with the product we expected. The colors were off, and our graphically trained eyes could not be satisfied with a sub par product (especially since it was explicitly advertised to hold up to our expectations!!).

 

Now, we regroup. We rethink. We set down guitars and listen to the ceiling fan creaking. We feel like throwing up. The future is long, and hard, but must be better. Hellos and goodbyes are hoped to be coming soon.
