NO CONFIDENCE IN PRESIDENT RYERSON

sending the results of last night's vote of no confidence. The attached
letter is the one sent to President Ryerson.

On November 1, 2004 Collegiate Cabinet facilitated a vote of no confidence for the student body. Interest had been expressed by members of the student body for such an action and Cabinet, in their responsibility to serve the student body, reacted appropriately. Below you will find the statement presented to the students, as well as the tally.

Based on President Ryerson's ten years as president of Wells College we, he students, vote no confidence in her ability to lead us successfully through the transition to coeducation.

Agree: 85

Disagree: 47

Abstain: 24

Total: 156
