Synopsis: Part 6 of the Alcohol storyline. Having 'murdered' the Carnelian Ambassador in front of thousands of witnesses at the United Nations Plaza, Iron Man's armour is impounded at City Hall. However, Tony has stripped out most of the integral circuits and has a spare set 'just in case'. Meanwhile, a rift has opened between him and Bethany Cabe. Tony enlists Rhodey to fly to Monaco where they are in hot pursuit of the man named Justin Hammer. Unfortunately, Hammer's henchmen are to hand, and heavily outnumber Tony and Rhodey.
Observations:
Continuing from Pieces of Hate - Tony gets some intense martial arts training from Captain America.
Ant Man also features in the story, gaining information from the incarcerated Whiplash about Justin Hammer.
Rhodey suggests that Tony ask for directions to Hammer's Monaco Villa from Princess Grace. Tony actually rings her up.
This story is often cited as being very James Bond in character, with Tony excelling without any help from his armour.
