ABOUT GLEN
Glen Bain has been in the Country Music Industry since he was 7 years of age. He performed his first Gig on ( Lead Guitar) when he was 12, that was to back his Mum , Glory Thorburn, and her sister Joy. They were known as the Thorburn Sisters. Glen's dad, John Cooke was an entertainer as well, both he and Glory recorded on Tanza Label. Glen was also in a band called The Laredoes. The band consisted of Marilyn Fenton (vocalist) Terry Fotheringham (guitar), his brother Kevin (drums) and younger brother Adrian (bass), the band was one of New Zealands top Country Bands in the 70's.

Glen moved to Australia in the early 80's. He has been in many different Bands, worked with many Australasian and International Acts, and is in demand for Session and Touring work. Glen has also released a 15 track instrumental CD with 5 originals. The CD is called Glen Bain's "Greatest Bit's" and can be ordered through us. When he is not on the road he works with Wendi Jackson in "Jus-Two" Duo.
