The Foundation
Finally, our hole has been dug. The camera is facing south.
If you look closely, you can see the mountains all the way to Payson (just
right of the existing home in the picture).
Noah is standing at the North West corner of the house (camera is facing
South East). The garage is sitting quite a bit higher than the rest
of the house (you can see this better in the next picture).
Trent and Noah on the footings. Camera is facing North West.
The plumbers were putting in our underground plumbing here. They
had to chip out part of our footings to run the pipes through. The
plumber said that they wouldn't fill it in, and there was enough support
for the load bearing wall. Camera is facing North East. I'm standing
in our future family room. The two windows at the back will be a
bedroom. The bathroom will go in between the windows. Then
another bedroom or two will go to the right. We will put storage
directly ahead.
Jonah down in the hole. He is standing at the front of the house
-- near the front porch (which will be in the corner on the left of the
picture). The black is a sealant painted on all the basement walls.
This is the back (east) side of our home. Camera is facing South.
Camera is facing South East. The garage is right at the front
of the picture (the garage side door is the gap in the foundation at the
back of the garage). A two story home is going in just South of us,
so we'll loose a lot of this view.
