We finally made it to the Statue of Liberty during my sister, Laurel's, visit this past month.
We caught the ferry just as the "John Glenn ticker tape parade" down the "canyon of heroes" began.
We also went to Ellis Island, Krispy Kreme donuts, The Soup Nazi and Times Square.
