My name is Radar O'Reilly
I came to live in Central NY on January 6, 2008. Nice lady, name Hurricane Renee. Ok, her real name is Renee Downs transported me to New York. My mommie has been waiting for me since December and I finely arrived here in January. But I have to tell you a secret, when Miss Renee open that back door to the vehicle. I saw my mom.....I just knew this was going to be my stop. I heard Miss Renee say to my Mom. We kinda let them pick out who they want for a mom. I knew who I wanted....so I jump to the top level of the cage before anyone else. I was the first one to jump into mom's hands. First thing I did was give her tons of kisses. Now, how can she not refused that. Next minutes, I was being carried into the home.......yahoo!
You see I am a rescue from DMK's Farm. I am one of the 65 that were re-surrendered back into the Shelter On September 16, 2007 a very large scale rescue took place in Ohio. "DMK Rescue Video"
Now that I am in my new home. I have tons of toys, blankets, and food. Just recently I was moved into a ferret nation cage. Wow, is this cage huge. Mom has all kinds of bedding and toys inside this cage. My favorite toy in the house is tunnels, tubes. My new mom has them all over the house behind the furniture. My sister Misty May gets a little upset when I crawl in bed with her. What's her problem? My other brothers are pretty cool. My favorite is Bode Miller, he watches over me. He looks just like me but bigger.
My mom always knows where I am in the house, because I don't stop talking. I just too excited! I am so happy that I am in my forever home. I have a lot to learn but I sure I will enjoy my new life's journey.
