| Hello, and thank you for visiting The Duncan Family Tree page. As I tell my story please click on the links to see the full family tree or what information I have. I was born in 1963, to my Parents Helen Hawks and Bill Duncan. I have been married twice, in which I have one daughter Jerica. I am currently married to my wife of 8 years Linda and we have 2 children Shawn and Sara. Linda is the daughter of Mari Bill and Richard Swetman. I began my search for my family sometime in 1996 shortly after my mother died. I grew up not knowing who my father was other than his name and the fact that I had a older brother and sister. I started my search by looking for my father not knowing if he was still alive or where he was living. I searched off and on with out any luck due to the number of duncan's in the U.S. Then I remembered that my mom had told me I had a brother and his name, throughout the years I remembered the name my mother had told me so one day I started a search for him looking for e-mail address's. Well as luck would have it my search turned up 1 person in California that matched that name, so knowing there was no way it could be the same person I was looking for I went ahead and sent a e-mail 4 hours later I came in contact with my half brother for the very first time. He told me my father was alive in Southern California and gave me his phone number and within 48 hours I spoke to my father for the first time in my life. To this day I am still in contact with him, and I have learned more about my fathers side of the family then my father does. I am lucky in that my reunion with my father was pleasant, and put a close to a part of my life I had been wondering about, while starting a new relationship with my father that will last the rest of my life. I dont want my children to ever have to wonder about thier family, that is why I have created this family tree for them. I hope there is information here that may help anyone else that may be also trying to piece together the family tree. And in return I hope that someone may have information I may be able to use. I need to thank the people that have helped me in my search such as Darleen, Don, my Dad Bill, and my Aunt Linda. With these people I would not have gotten as far as I did in such the little time I have been working on this project.......Thank you Andrew Duncan |
