"What, so keen to Dance the Black Spiral already? Be careful what you wish for. One day it might just come true..."

Scotland, and Fife in particular is the ORIGINAL homeland of the Black Spiral Dancers - or to be more precise, the White Howlers from which they came. The Picts are the native people of Caledonia - the Scots are Irish interlopers who have only lived in Scotland since the Dark Ages. Nevertheless, the Dancers have been driven from the land by the valiant Fianna, nevermore to trouble Scotia's splendid nation. The Picts are long gone, and Gaia is safe once more...

"Gone? How ubsurdly naive. How arrogantly presumptious! And how utterly, utterly wrong you are. Gaia? don't talk to me about Gaia! Just you think about your poor, precious Gaia next time she sends a flood, or a drought, or a famine. Poor Mother Nature. Poor, weak, helpless Gaia. Well, you just think of that poor, helpless, wittering female next time she lets an earthquake bury a school, or has a tornado rip through a city. She started this war, and now she wants to throw the towel in just because she's losing? I don't think so..."

"Still here, I see. I like that! Someone open to... life's possibilities. Why don't you just walk this way with me... What? Oh, never mind the screams. You'll get used to them. Everyone does... "
