Nirvana's Palace - Nirvana's Mailing List

It began as a little side project in late 1993.  It outgrew its first home and taxed the time of its 
administrator to the point of nearly collapsing.  It is Territorial Pissings, the Nirvana Mailing List.

T.P. now counts several hundred subscribers among its numbers, and the list is growing by dozens 
every week.  In the past, we have taken great pride in avoiding the idiotic flame wars and generally stupid 
conversation common on the Usenet Newsgroup alt.music.nirvana, and all of us hope that as our 
numbers grow, this will continue to be the case. T.P. is for those who are informed or who wish to be 
informed; it is for bootleg traders; it is for the true fans.  It is not for conspiracy theories regarding
Kurt's untimely death.  If this sounds like a hell of a good idea to you, you should join us.

Once you get your acknowledgement back from the list site, you can join in the fun by posting to the 
address:
"nirvlist@nyx.cs.du.edu".  There will also be archives of all our posts available.  The new site will 
really be a huge step up from our old one.

Which brings me to one final point.  The time between November 1994 and May 1995 was one of 
transition for myself and T.P.  I was busy working on getting T.P moved to a new and more reliable site.  
Most of you who attempted to subscribe under the conditions of the old site were probably ignored. 
I still have some of your names and addresses and will try to get you added to the new list soon.  But
it might just be easier if those of you who wanted to subscribe to T.P. during that six month period 
just follow the new directions above.  And anyone attempting to subscribe using the old format
(basically e-mailing me personally and asking me to get you signed up) will be ignored and their 
e-mail disregarded.  I do not do this to be rude, but do it because my home account has limited disk space.

If you do run into trouble getting subscribed, you can e-mail me at "Aeraj@lover-boy.com" and I will
help out.  Please make sure you've done everything right and have waited sufficiently long
before dragging me into things, though!  :)

I look forward to Territorial Pissings growing and expanding and still remaining an informative and 
useful resource to true Nirvana fans worldwide in the years to come.  I hope you decide to join us.
