OUR MISSION

West Highland Rescue Group of UpState NY promotes the adoption of homeless West Highland Terriers through the use of technology in conjunction with our many volunteers and foster families. We strive to match our Westies with the best homes for their needs. To be a source of comfort and love for all rescued Westies. If we are unable to place one of our Westies they are given a permanent home at the rescue for the rest of their lives. We are located in Saranac, NY on 10 acres. We are always looking for good foster homes as we feel that the dogs do better in a family setting. As a non-profit rescue we operate on private and public donations.
