OBITUARY

Lula Landon Vance, daughter of Mordecai and Katherine Landon, was born February 10, 1868, in Blendon township. She was married to Clinton H. Vance on January 1, 1891. To this union were born two children, Louis Richard, who died in infancy, and Mrs. Clifford Moss, who survives. Besides her husband and daughter she leaves to mourn her loss four sisters, Mrs. Ella Pierce, Mrs. Dora Brown, Mrs. Lora Phelps and Mrs. Minnie Ballenger, all of Westerville.
She has been a member of the Presbyterian church of Westerville for the past twenty-five years.
Mrs. Vance had been suffering from ill health for the last three years and after submitting to an operation in hope of recovery, complications set in which caused her death at Mt. Carmel hospital at 12:50 p.m. Tuesday, September 30.
Through all her years she has been of a cheerful disposition, a faithful wife and a loving mother.
