Life CastLife Cast
Walking in a
mix of exhaust
and ocen air
we stumbled upon
the small statue.
Blue green shadows
nestled in the bronze
cast of porpoise,
the center figure
catching my eye.
Rising midst metalic
waves her pendulate
breasts giving way to a
waist of scales,
breaching to claim
a world fit for her
dichotomous existence.
My cheeks flush
with recognition-
for a fragment in time
I was beautiful
-stretched open
to greet life,
arching into
a touch that replaced
useless language.
Accepting the feminine
with a gasp of
new found air
as your palms
worked near my heart.
Your arm
now about me,
waits as I marvel at the maid.
To find that
in a moment past
I had breached into reality
For a moment
for you
I broke free.
