Tom has performed throughout the midwest, Texas, Hawaii, Austria, Germany, Switzerland and on Caribbean Cruises.  He has recorded and produced 14 albums with the Hofer Band. Tom has been lucky to work with a number of wonderful musicians and entertainers throughout his last 30+ years in the entertainment business. Tom plays keyboards, trumpet and bass and helps out with lead and harmony vocals in Western Justice.

Tom currently lives near Des Moines, Iowa where he is in management with a food manufacturing company, Purfoods, LLC.  For information on Purfoods and their numerous lines you can visit www.purfoods.com.   Purfoods has their Kitchen, Packaging Plant, Offices and  Mom's Meals Call Center in Nevada, Iowa along with their Distribution Center, Diet Lines Call Center and Corporate Offices in Ankeny and Des Moines, Iowa.  From the Iowa facilities, meals are shipped all over the United States.
Tom's daughter Leigh Ann is in her last year at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Leigh is studying Religion and Philosophy and has plans to go into the seminary and become a pastor.  Leigh married David Benish in January of 2008. Tom's son Kenny is a Sophomore at Cedar Rapids Prairie High School.  Kenny plays guitar in the Jazz Band, drums in the concert band, bass guitar in the show choir back up band  and sings in the choir. It looks like Kenny may be following in his grandpa's and dad's footsteps.
Tom has a very busy schedule trying to keep up with family activities and working with a very fast growing business.   When Kirk Dighton, Curtis Kloft, Judy "Dusty" Cady and Tom Hofer formed
Western Justice along with Mark Kelchen, it was decided that the group would limit it's playing engagements to a select number of dates.  With everyone's busy schedules, this has allowed all of the members to stay active in the music business that they love.
