The Westfield Community Halloween Carnival was a big success this year as hundreds turned out to have fun on a beautiful fall day.
Here are some of the activities we had at this year's Carnival. There was also free Pizza and drinks. Click on the pictures for a larger view and see if you can find yourself or someone you know.

This year a second kid's bouncer was added and both were full of children having a great time.
I would like to take a moment to say THANK YOU to all whose hard work made for a wonderful day in Westfield!!!  Individually:  Diane Kazan and Mary Ann Alvin ordered and picked up MANY items from prizes, cupcakes, drinks, pizzas, ect... Natalie and Mark Tournat picked up and returned our helium tank.  Dee Keese's assistance in bringing the fantastic 4H kids (and Larrisa for working the entire event) has been tremendous for making the event run much smoother.  Renee Milch hosted the planning party, made and hung the announcement banner, created the photo stickers, ect...  Merrily Boardman did the best bit of dues collecting I've seen and her son Brady was outstanding at taking the best of the photo's.  Matt and Alison Kanjo manned the food, drink, and prize booths the ENTIRE time without a break.  Nancy Kellogg along with her husband Dick and Barbara Cox worked very hard to build the contacts list for Neighborhood Watch.  Dana Brown (one of my co-workers) and her significant other Steve Lawson got the pumpkin table rolling which carried through the entire event as extremely popular and fun.  Marie Claire made professional (and very popular) quality cotton candy.  The commandant, Jeff Milch did a great job keeping track of time and making sure we didn't suffer from staff burnout!  The set-up/take down team of Diane Kazan, John and Mary Ann Alvin, Mark Tournat, Jeff and Renee Milch, Guido Rietdijk, Fred and Jeannette Tramm, Matt Kanjo, Wade and Joy Arai, and Cathie Jetton.

To all of you who manned the booths, which took away from your own enjoyment of the event with your family, I give you my heartfelt THANKS!  Your selflessness to make the event fun for others was charitable and neighborly which is the main reason why Westfield is the special place that it is...

THANK YOU AGAIN,

Kyle Kazan
President, WPOA

Ps.  I apologize in advance for the many omissions of people who helped and the individual acts of generosity and work that was not acknoweledged above...
