Ny exited the inn at Tauren Mill, slapping the dust from her backside. Really, with the amount of people here, they could fix the place up. She looked down at herself to make sure she got most of the dust and webs off of herself after spending the night on the floor with Solly.

She looked down at Solly, who was busy cleaning himself with his paws, and reached over to pull a spider’s web from his ear. She then gave him a good scratch behind the ear, earning a loud purr from him. Just then, Ny’s stomach let out a loud rumble.

“Time to get some food, big boy. We sure wont find any in this place. Unless you feel like a breakfast of mushrooms?” she asked Solly, who went on cleaning himself, ignoring her.

“That’s what I thought. Thanks Solly, I just love talking to myself.” Ny told her pet.

She dug into her pocket in her leggings and came up empty handed. Uh oh, she thought. She then checked the rest of her pockets but they were empty too. Great, now she would have to catch her and Solly some breakfast. She really didn’t have time for it this morning. Already she was behind with some of the jobs she had been hired to do.

Ny let out a big sigh and started walking up the lane that headed out of the little village. “Come on, baby.” She called to Solly.

She pulled out her little notebook and flipped through some pages as she walked along the dirt road.. Ah, here it is, she thought, taping a page with her messy handwriting all over it. Ny used her own system of taking notes, that way if she ever lost the book, no one would be able to decipher what was written in it. Today’s job…Farmer Ray, Farmer Getz, some farmhands, oh what is that? She peered hard at what she written. Oh, she tsked, farmers. She let out a sigh.

She really should stop taking these jobs that were beyond her skills. Only she needed the money. Her armor was already worn out, and it was all she could do to buy rough shot to do these jobs.

Ny tucked her notebook back into her pocket and started to jog towards Hillsbrad. Solly kept pace with her. In no time, she and Solly arrived at her advantage point overlooking the little pocket of farms nestled in the valley below. She sat down and took off her pack, pulling it around to the front of her. She started rummaging through it, hoping she had a pit of jerky left to take the edge off her hunger. Again, she came up empty handed.

“Looks like we are going to have to do this on growling tummies.” She told Solly, reaching over to pet him, as he sat next to her. His big ears twitching at the sounds coming from the farms.

“Maybe you can get you a big fat bunny and I will get some veggies.”

Ny got to her feet and went to hang her back pack from a branch in the near by tree. She picked up her quiver from where it laid near Solly and strapped it on. She checked her bow, made sure she had both sword strapped to her sides. She gave a soft whistle to Solly and started down the hill.

“Farmer Ray, Farmer Ray, it’s time to come out and play.” She said under her breathe in a grim tone.
