A Brief Bio

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point majoring in Communications. I have a double minor: Political Science, and Women's Studies.

After a brief stint in radio, I was hired by WMVS/WMVT (Channels 10/36) in Milwaukee. The TV station is licensed to the Milwaukee Area Technical College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Career Highlights Producer of SMITH & COMPANY, a nightly public affairs talk show. 1991 Chicago/Midwest Emmy winner for best conversational program.

Producer/writer/director of MURDER BY THE BOOK, a show about mystery writers. 1992 Philo Community Programming Awards Honorable Mention.

Fox Sports utility crew member for Green Bay Packers home games.

I work part-time at AfterWords Booskstore in Milwaukee. I facilitate a reading book club and writer's group.

Freelance writer for The Wisconsin Light and Instep.

Owner, Cindy V., Video Production Services. Acts a video consultant/producer/director/camera operator for a variety of productions.
