Is There A Doctor In The House?

Caught in the middle of a war, Xena and Gabrielle creat a makeshift hospital in a temple despite vehement protests by the official healer, Galen. Xena sets up a system of triage, improvises a tracheotomy, amputates a limb to save a soldier with gangrene, and otherwise revolutionizes medicine while young Hippocrates records her techniques for a new generation of healers. Xena's greatest miracle of modern medicine-and faith-is her desperate discovery of CPR to revive Gabrielle after she goes into shock from a severe wound and dies.
