"I was left standing there, just wondering who she was. (laughing) Kian had to wave his hand in front of my face to get me out of my daze! I had never really believe in love at first sight, but let me tell you, that incident changed my mind!

"I'd continue on seeing her around and after a few months a tried to drop hints too see how she responded. It was so hard to know cos she was like, a fan, and she could either push me away because of my fame, or the risk was she wouldn't push me away, because of my fame. I thought it wouldn't be a very big chance she really would accept the fact I had feelings for her, in a natural way like. Not just cos I was in her fave band or whatever.

"In the end I just told myself to go for it. I just had to know, to not know what she felt for me was killing me. I had to take the chance. That chance did came along earlier than I had thought. We were at this roadshow where we bumped into her backstage. I must say, I was so shocked by her walking around on her own. Apparently, she and her friend had won backstage passes and her friend had gotten sick and no one else were interested in coming so now she had had to go herself.

"I think the other lads had long sensed how I felt about her. We were in this room and they all made their excuses to drop off. I was left alone with her, it was now or never, probably. Unfortunately, as soon as I told her, our tour manager came to tell me I had to go on stage in a few minutes. I had to leave her, all she did was stare at me, and I never got her response.

"I can remember scanning the crowd for her. And, well, I had just found her when she was squashed to the barrier and fainted...
