chapter one
"Lin, Lin. Guess what?" Shane called.
"What?" "Bryan's bringing his new girlfriend round to meet us, finally."
"Oh great I cant wait" Lin replied sarcastically.
"Ah Here's the stud himself." Exclaimed Kian.
Lin looked at Bryan and had so many mixed feelings, what the hell was she feeling, they had been friends since they we're babies along with Nicky. But just recently Bryan and Nicky had, had an argument and were hardly speaking and Lin was stuck in the middle. She felt guilty if she spent time with either of them, though she spent hardly any time with Bryan lately.
Bryan went straight to Lin "Hiya Lin".
"Hi Bryan, how r u?" Lin replied, looking round for Nicky.
"I'm super, u?"
"Good, so you're bringing your new lady around then? Does Nicky know?"
"Yeah we're coming later, and no Nix doesn't know." And with that he went to talk to the others.
Lin spotted Nicky and went over. "Hiya Nix, u heard the latest?"
"Oh yeah Kian just said and won't that be fantastic, I cant wait."
"Now, now less of the sarcasm " Replied Lin with a laugh.
"Is that Nicky being sarcastic I hear?" Asked Mark. "Yep it sure is, got a problem with that?" "Calm down Nix, I only asked." Said Mark and walked away.
Nicky called after him and apologised. "Ok Lin I'm off, see ya later ok."
Bryan said giving her a kiss on the cheek. "Yeah ok. Bye."
"Well this should be an eventful evening."
"God Shane don't sneak up on me like that."
"Ooooops sorry, shame Mark and Kian won't be here."
"What? Oh I remember Mark's going home and Kian's gonna party. Wish I was going with him." Lin replied with a hint of sadness in her voice. And with that she went to her room leaving Shane wondering what's on her mind.
