What was Sara doing for him? Bringing him unnecessary pain. Pain he did not deserve, but also pain Sara hadn't intended to inflict on him. "I have never felt like this before. It is something totally new for me. I didn't know how to handle it and I admit that I made a major mistake. I regret that so much. You will never know just how much I ... Look I am sorry and that is all I can say. Please except this apology because it is said with the best of intentions. I never wanted to hurt you, honest." With that Sara headed in the direction of the main road. Sara felt cold and alone, remembering that Angel was inside with the remaining members of Westlife. "Poor guys, they won't know what hit them" Sara said a loud with a smile. But nothing she could say or think about would stop the pain that she was feeling at the moment. It was so intense that it was pulling her inside out. She folded her arms to try and keep warm on the ever growingly cold evening. Sara hadn't noticed it before but it was getting really dark, too dark for her to be alone in a place she didn't know, so she quickened her pace and headed straight for the lights of the main road.
She began to walk quicker and quicker, growing more and more nervous with every step. Then Sara felt a hand on her shoulder. She felt scared and more alone then ever. If she bothered to scream would anyone hear? Even if they did, would any of them care enough to rescue her? Did anyone in this world care about her? Angel was inside, trying her best to get off with at least one member of Westlife if not all four. Her Dad hadn't even realised that she was gone. And her brother, she didn't even want to think about him. No matter how much she continued to analyse the whole situation, her reaction was a reflex one that she had no control over. She screamed out loud and started to attack whoever the hand belonged to.
"Get off me, now. Help someone!" Whoever that hand had belonged to was now hugging Sara, trying to calm her down. As the warm hand softly stroked her hair Sara allowed the person to hug her because she knew whom it was. "Calm down Sara, shush, it's all right it's just me" Sara was comforted by the soft Sligo accent, that she had already missed the sound of. Sara was returning Shane's hug and felt safe and warm in his arms.
Shane brought Sara's head up with his hands so that he could look straight into her eyes, "Sara, I love you, I could never just leave you like that, you have no worries. Ever since I saw you at the hotel, I knew you wanted me for me and not for me being a pop star. And I wanted you for being you. I don't know what happened in the past and I hope that one day you feel that you can trust me enough to confined in me, but all I know is that I won't leave you. I promise." He said softly and sincerely. Sara knew that Shane's love was returned. That she felt the same for him and has always done so, ever since she first saw him.
" I love you too, I am sorry that I..." Shane slowly moved his fingers over Sara's lips, they looked into each others eyes and then they leaned towards each other and finally their lips met in a kiss that was indescribable. A kiss, that showed her a different type of love. A kiss, that gave Sara a love in her life that she had never felt before. A kiss, which showed their love was everlasting no matter what obstacles they would have to face. A kiss, that forever sealed their love for each other.
