BACK About A Fan Who Crossed The Line

At home
"What are you saying? You wanna make it official??" she laughed, and let her hand touch his.
"That's what I'm saying!" Mark laughed, and cuddled her hand.
"Wow... You really, REALLY want to?" she asked, just to make sure. Mark smiled and pulled her near,
"I swear... I love you so much, Paulina, and I want the whole world to know!" he said, and gave her a little kiss.
"Paulina, who are you talking to?" Paulina's mother entered the door.
"No one..." she quickly answered, "I'm just studying on my English!"
Her mother shook her head, and closed the door again. Her imaginary Mark wasn't there anymore. Whenever Paulina was lonely, Imaginary Mark showed up. He would tell her that he needed, loved and missed her, and they would talk for hours. But Paulina always came back to reality, and realised that Mark was gone. When she faced a poster, he seemed so far away.
"Are you sad, love?" Mark asked. She smiled, and looked at the bed, where Mark sat.
"A bit... It's because I love you so much!" she said, and hit her arms around Mark, who was being replaced by a pillow.
"I love you too, love..." he whispered, and gave her a kiss on her forehead. He seemed so real...

In class
"Paulie, look in your book!!" Ms. Williams yelled for the 20th time. But Paulina didn't want to look in the book. She was too busy looking at the door, and imaginary Mark, who was waiting for her to get the day off.
"Sure, ms. Williams..." she mumbled, and looked in the book. A little imaginary piece of paper lay in the middle of the two pages, there were filled with pictures of foreign countries.
She pretended to open the little piece of paper, and read it. "I love you!” it said, with imaginary Mark's handwriting. She smiled at the door.
"Paulina?" Ms. Williams said.
"Sorry!" Paulina quickly said, and looked down in her book again. She didn't notice the silence, and the eyes that all starred at her.
"We're waiting, Paulie..." ms. Williams said, and went over to Paulina's table.
"What?" she asked, confused.
"Read, Paulina, READ!" Ms. Williams nearly freaked out.
"Oh! Where are we?" Paulina asked, and tried to find the proper place in the book. Every day went like that. And Mark always stood in the door, laughing and smiling at her.

Paulina
She was tall, and dark - brown eyes, brown hair, but pale skin. Her eyes were small, and there were always bags under them. Her mouth looked a bit like Bryan's, but that was nothing to be proud of. Her hair was long, and ruined all the way down. She was very choppy, and always fought her fight to loose weight; it just never really seemed to work out. When she was with Mark she mysteriously lost 20 pounds, and looked like a supermodel.
She was a no one in her class. No one cared about her, because she was a huge Westlife-fan. She was only 13 years old, but always turned 5 years older, when Imaginary Mark visited her. Though her favourite from the band was Bryan, she still had some other feelings for Mark.
It all started, when she was in Turkey with her class. She felt incredible lonely, and therefore made up an imaginary Shane to follow her around. Someway, somehow he'd followed her back to Denmark, and followed her around there. After some months, he'd changed to be imaginary Bryan, who'd followed her around wherever she went. Sometimes, she could have the whole Westlife by her side, and they were all talking to her, and laughing with her.
She always knew when Mark would come along. When she was alone. She knew what he was going to say, and her answers were always clever and perfect. Imaginary Mark loved her more than anything on earth!

Home Alone
"Hey..." Mark smiled, and laid his arms around her waist. She tried to butter her piece of bread, while laughing at Mark.
"Knock it off..." she giggled, and took a bite of the bread.
"Give me a piece of that!" Mark commanded, and she lifted her bread up high, so Mark could take a bite. It was morning, and Paulina was going to school within 30 minutes.
"I love you..." Paulina whispered, and pretended to hit her arms around his neck, and give him a kiss.
"I love you too..." he said. She smiled, and went back into her room, to get dressed. While she got undressed, Mark disappeared. She put on her huge sweater, and her baggy pants, and turned on the radio. Some Danish crap-song played, but she didn't mind. She just closed her eyes, and embraced a pillow.
"I love you,” she said to the pillow, who was pretending to be Mark. -SUDDENLY- the pillow turned warm - it moved!! She felt two real arms embrace her, and a real voice saying,
"I love you too..."
She pulled herself away from the pillow. She suddenly discovered that Mark was sitting in front of her. She screamed a bright scream, but it didn't last long. Mark was dressed exactly the way, Paulina had dressed Imaginary Mark - this Mark wasn't imaginary. He was real. He could move. He could talk.
"What's wrong, honey?" he suddenly asked. Paulina pressed herself up against the wall with her back, almost trying to press herself through. She hadn't made him say that!
"Nothing..." she quickly answered, not knowing what to say! Imaginary Mark wasn't there anymore. But the real Mark was. Or was it a mixture?
The Mark suddenly stood up, and slowly went over to her. She pressed herself harder against the wall, hoping it would suddenly remove itself, so she could run away. Mark grabbed her shoulders. She could feel that it wasn't in your imagination. It was real.
"Welcome to a world where anything can happen..." he whispered. That made no sense. She starred at him with the hugest eyes she could make. She faced the mirror on the other side of the wall. She didn't look like a supermodel anymore. She was still 13. But Mark was there! He was real!
And he was about to kiss her!! She pulled her head so far back, that she felt a small headache. Mark had his eyes closed, and moved his head closer to hers. When his lips touched hers, she almost cried. She could feel his lips this time. It wasn't something she made up. It really happened.
"That was my first kiss..." was all she could say - not clever, and not perfect.
"What are you talking about, love? We've kissed loads of times before!" Mark laughed, "Let's go to school!" he grabbed her hand, and pulled her with him. Her heart was threatening to jump out of her chest! Go to school?? What wouldn't her classmates say??

In School
Mark had walked by her side, all the way to school. She hadn't talked to him. She was too afraid. They entered the school, and started to walk to class. Mark followed her, smiling, just like imaginary Mark had done. She was way too late, so she took some deep breaths before entering the door, with Mark.
"Sorry, I'm late, but my cousin showed up..." she said, and pointed at Mark, who stood by her side. Everyone starred at her.
"What?" Mr. Bell asked, serious as he was.
"This is my cousin. He came all the way from Ireland..." she said, and put her hand on Marks shoulder.
"Paulina, would you please take a seat, and stop that bullshit?" Mr. Bell said, and pointed at her seat.
"Can't you see him?!" she asked, and dropped her jaw on the floor.
"Paul, what are you talking about? Sit down!!" he commanded. Paulina went to her seat with her schoolbag on her back, and her jaw on the floor. Mark went with her over to her seat.
"No, wait by the door!" she said, and got eyecontact with him. He gave her a small kiss on her cheek, and she sat down. She noticed that everybody was starring at her.
"Sorry..." she just mumbled. Mr. Bell started the math-class, by telling everyone what they all already knew. Paulina couldn't concentrate; she just kept starring at Mark who was standing by the door. He was there non-stop! She couldn't remove him with her mind, though she tried. Was she going insane?
"Open your books, on page 43 and 44!" Mr. Bell said. Paulina opened her book, and almost fell of her chair! A little note was stuck in between the pages! She quickly opened it, and recognised Imaginary Mark's handwriting!
"Mr. Bell!!" she whined. Mr. Bell slowly went over to her table.
"What?" he asked.
"Can you read this?!" she asked, with her heart beating like never before.
"Well, I love you too, but you're not allowed to send notes in class!" he said, and grabbed the paper. He threw it on the teacher’s desk. Paulina grabbed her head. It was too supernatural.
"You wasn't supposed to show anyone!" she suddenly heard Mark's voice from the door. She looked towards him, with huge eyes.
"What?!" she whined, as she didn't hear what he said.
"It was one of those secret notes!" Mark answered, and winked.
"How was I to know that?! You're not real! He wasn't supposed to read it!!" she whined to the door. Mark turned his head, and so did Paulina. She saw that everyone was looking at her. Some was laughing; some was shaking their heads. Mr. Bell was looking extremely angry.
"Paulina, I'm gonna give you one last chance! Stop that right now!! No one thinks it's funny!!" he shouted. Paulina just nodded in silence.
When the class was over, Mr. Bell went out, and they all waited for Ms. Pollen. She was Paulina's favourite teacher, cause she taught them all about human nature, mentality and such as.
"Psst!! Love!" She turned her head, and looked directly into the eyes of Mark. She almost jumped a mile from her chair. She didn't answer him - it would look too stupid. She just looked down her book, and whipped the sweat of her forehead.
"Are you ignoring me now, my love?" he asked, and pulled out the empty chair beside her, and sat down.
"Did that chair just move by itself?!" a guy shouted from across the class.
"No, it was me!" Paulina hurried to shout.
"Go away..." she whispered to Mark, who was cuddling her hand.
"Why?" he asked.
"Go away!" she said, a bit louder.
"No, I wanna stay here with you!" he laughed, and gave her a kiss on the cheek. She pulled away, and stood up, so her chair hit the floor.
"GO AWAY, GO AWAY, GO AWAY!!!" She screamed, and knocked her fist against the table.
"Oh, you wanna be alone, love? I understand!" Mark smiled, and stood up. He was about to kiss her, but she stepped back,
"NO!! GO AWAY!!! GET LOST!!!" she screamed, and almost felt tears in her eyes. Mark smiled, and went over to the door again, to wait.
"ALL THE WAY OUT!!!" She screamed.
"Okay, love..." he said, and went out. Paulina tried to control herself, but almost couldn't. She looked around the class, only to see the huge amount of eyes starring at her.
"WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?!" she screamed, and made everyone look away. She pulled her chair up again from the floor, and sat down. She let one tear fall, to hit her math-book.
"Goodmorning!" she heard ms. Pollen sing. No one answered her, they were too afraid of Paulina's reaction.
"Ms. Pollen, Paulina is crying..." Karen, the little geek said.
"Why is Paulina crying?" Ms. Pollen asked Paulina.
"I'm not crying..." she answered, and whipped the tear away.
"What's wrong?" Ms. Pollen asked, and put her hand on Paulina's. Paulina wanted to tell her everything, but couldn't.
"Nothing... I'm fine..." Paulina lied. Ms. Pollen nodded, and stood up.
"Okay, class I have a question for you today!" she smiled, "Have you ever had a dream, that seemed so real, that you couldn't tell the difference between fantasy and reality?" she asked, and sat down behind the desk. Paulina stuck her hand into the air.
"Paulina?" Ms. Pollen asked.
"Uhhmm... Sometimes I have those dreams, I..." she started, but suddenly heard the door open. She looked towards it, and saw Mark come in. She looked at Ms. Pollen, "I imagine that I..." she started again, but Mark came over to her, and sat down by her side.
"Hi, love..." he whispered.
"Paulina?" Ms. Pollen asked, concerned. Paulina felt the anger inside of her head.
"I love you..." Mark said, and took her hand. Suddenly, Paulina stood up, and screamed.
"GET AWAY!!! LEAVE ME ALONE!! GET LOST!!! I DON'T NEED YOU ANYMORE!! YOU'RE NOT REAL!!" she whined, and felt the tears roll down her cheeks. Mark stood up, and was about to kiss her again,
"AND DON'T KISS ME!! DON'T TOUCH ME!!!" she whined, and pushed him away from her.
"Okay, then I wont kiss you... yet!" Mark giggled.
"NO!! DON'T EVER KISS ME!! DON'T SPEAK TO ME!! DON'T TOUCH ME!!! I DON'T LOVE YOU!!!" she whined, and let all her tears hit the floor. She knew everyone was starring at her, but she didn't care. All she wanted to was to get Mark out of her life.
"It's all in your imagination, my dear..." he whispered.
"NO!!! NO IT'S NOT!! YOU'RE REAL!!! YOU'RE FOR REAL!!! I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU!!! GET AWAY!!! GET OUT OF MY LIFE!!!! NOW!!" she walked towards the door, as she pulled him with her, "LEAVE ME ALONE, MARK, PLEASE!!! I'M BEGGING YOU!" she cried. She opened the door, and threw him out.
"I'll just wait for you, out here, my love..." she heard him mumbled. She screamed and smashed the door. She looked around the class, and saw everyone looking at her. She tried to explain, but she couldn't get a word out. She just ran over to her schoolbag, and ripped it of the chair. She went outside the door, and slammed it after her.
"There you are..." Mark said, smiling. Paulina hurried past him, and out of the school. All the way home, she could hear Mark's footsteps behind her.

At home, a few hours later...
"She's been lying in her room, crying ever since she came home..." she heard her mother tell the doctor, or whatever he was.
"What else?" he asked.
"She shouts all kind of things... Like she's talking to someone..." she heard her mother start to cry.
"Have she ever done it before?" the man asked. And so the questions continued, all night.
Paulina knew that if she didn't stop right away, they would send her away - To some place, where the floors and the walls had the same boring colours. Where all sorts of people walked around, acting like idiots. Where she got pills, drugs, and where the doctors checked on her every hour. They would send her to a mental hospital.
"Mark?" she asked Mark, who sat by the side of her bed.
"Yes, love?" he asked, and grabbed her hand.
"I'm begging you... I'm gonna get very sick, if you don't disappear... Do you understand that, Mark?" she asked, cuddling his hand. Her eyes were still red, after having cried for 5-6 hours.
"I understand that, Paulina, but I love you so much!" he said, trying to calm her down.
"But Mark... I love you too, but you need to go away for some years... For me... Will you do that?" she asked, and got eyecontact with him.
"Okay... I'll do it..." she said, after a few minutes of silence, "But only because I love you!" he said. He gave her a small kiss, and slowly left the room. She felt the freedom again...

3 months after, a place in Copenhagen...
It had been 3 months since she'd said goodbye to Mark. She hadn't imagined him to come back ever since. She was too afraid of the consequences. She was walking down the streets of Copenhagen, enjoying the sun and the people. She still felt as free as she did when Mark had left her.
-Suddenly- her heart stopped to beat!! Right in front of her, he was! He'd returned!! MARK! He looked at her huge eyes and smiled,
"I'm back!"
She started to run towards him, and he opened his arms to hug her. Though, she started to hit at him! She cried and screamed, "I hate you!!”
"I love you too!" he answered and laughed.
"NOOOO!!" she screamed, cried and shouted. Mark tried to calm her down, by embracing her, but she just resisted.
"GOOO!" she whined, and cried more than ever. Suddenly, she saw four girls come running against Mark, shouting that they wanted autographs. Paulina screamed and cried even more! It wasn't the imaginary Mark. It was the real Mark from Westlife!!

1 month after, a place where the floors and the walls have the same colour...
"That's a great idea!" Paulina laughed, and smiled at Mark.
"Well, I wanna tell the whole world that I love you!" Mark laughed, and cuddled her arm.
"Thank you for coming back!" she said, and gave him a kiss. He smiled,
"Thanks for wanting me back! Are you sure you're not sick?" he asked. She shook her head,
"No... Not at all!"
"Paulina, it's time for your medicine!" a doctor in a white kite said to her. She smiled,
"Okay, doc! But I'm not sick!" she smiled, and took the pills. She swallowed them, without drinking any water.
"What's wrong with her?" the nurse asked the doctor.
"Can you see Mark from Westlife by her side?" the doctor asked. The nurse shook confused her head.
"Well, she can..." the doctor said, and pointed at Paulina who was kissing out in the air...
