Brodie was 22 and she lived in Dublin. She had known her fiancee since middle school when she lived in Sligo. She had been with Josh for over 2 years,they had moved in with each other a year ago and had been engaged for 8 months.
All of Brodies friends had seen Josh with other girls and they had told Brodie,but Brodie just didnt want to hear it.
Brodie had come home early from work and found Josh in bed with some other girl.'Its over and this time i mean it'Brodie shouted.
'Brodie i didnt mean to,it was an accident'Josh answered. 'Accident my ar$e,so u just tripped and your d!ck accidently slipped into her then.'Brodie asked.
'Thats not funny'Josh answered.
'Do you see me laughing er NO'Brodie shouted.
'But i love you'Josh said.
'Its not going to work this time,i should of listened to my friends.I have wasted 2 years of my life on scum like you,just pack your bags and leave'Brodie shouted
Brodie chuckd a bag at him.
'I said pack'She shouted.
Brodie sat down and waited for him to go.
'Now go,oh yeh and heres your engagement ring go and put it on you little tarts finger.'Brodie threw the ring at Josh and slammed the door on his face.
Brodie was to angry to cry.She thought Josh loved her.brodie had to be strong,she phoned her friend Bexi and told her everything.
Brodie and her three best mates had decided to go out clubbing to get Brodies mind off of Josh.
'Come on Brodie,you look gourgeous as usual'Bexi said.
'Well i dont feel it'Brodie answered..
'get these down you before we go'Carla said handing them shot glasses. They drunk them.
'Bloody hell what was in them'Jodie asked.
'Dunno'Carla answered.
They all started to laugh.
'Thats more like it'Bexi said to Brodie.
'Lets go'Jodie said.They switched the lights off and off they went.
'Look im not up to this,i am going home,ill give u a ring tomorrow'Brodie said.
'Dont go'Carla said.
'See ya'Brodie started to walk home.A car horn went off.
***BEEP BEEP***
'Alright gourgeous,how much you charging'Came a familuar voice.
'Shane'Brodie said looking at the limo.
'The one and only,get in you must be freezing'Brodie got in.
'Guys this is my best mate from Sligo'Shane said.'What you doing here?'
Brodie told him about Josh.Josh and Shane went to school with each other.
'Are you alright'Shane asked.
Brodie nodded.
'Hi im Bryan,this is Kian,this is Mark and the baby asleep in the corner is Nicky'Bryan said.
'Awww'Brodie said looking at Nicky.
'Do you want to come with us'Shane asked her.
'Where'
'Nickys'
'Might aswell'Brodie answered.
'Oi Byrne'Shane said when they arrived at Nickys.
'What'Nicky answered.
'We are here'Shane said getting out of the car.
'Whos that'Nicky said pointing at Brodie.
'Im Brodie an old friend of Shanes,he invited me here ,i hope you dont mind'Brodie said politely.
'Course not,the more the merrier and that makes 6 of us'Nicky sai dlaughing.'Its going to be 1 girl and 5 boys in a house all alone,i like'Nicky said.
'So do i'Brodie said,she thought Nicky was well fit.
Brodie and Nicky looked at each other and burst out laughing.
All 6 of them started drinking untill they were legless.
'Right spin the bottle'Brodie said.
'What,but there is only 1 girl and i aint kissing no bloke'Bryan said.
'Im only joking'Brodie said.
'Right im going skinny dipping'Bryan said.
'Me 2'Shane answered.
'Me 3'Mark said.
'Wait for me guys'Kian said running after them.
'Byrne come on'Shane shouted'And you Brodie'
'No thanx,im staying here'Brodie said.
'Yeh me to'Nicky said.
'Do you want another drink'Nicky asked Brodie.
'Erm no ive had one to many'Brodie said.
'Ok then'Nicky said drinking some vodka.
Nicky fell over,Bcaught him.
They looked into each others eyes.Nicky leant in to kiss her.Brodie pulled away.
'God look at them'Brodie said laughing.
'Brodie im sorry,i took it the wrong way'Nicky said.
'No you didnt,but you've got a girlfriend,its not fair on her,you've been with her for 6 years and you want to have a stupid fling'Brodie said.
'It wont be a fling'Nicky said.
Brodie couldnt resist.
Nicky led her upstairs and well you know.
***NEXT MORNING***
Nicky looked nest to him and saw Brodie lying there.
'Sh!t'He said.He had realised he had cheated on his girlfriend of 6years.He was drunk and this was the first time he had ever done anything like that.
'Morning'Brodie said.
'Erm yeh hi'Nicky answered.
'You ok sweetie'Brodie said.
'Yeh,right Brodie did i sleep with u'Nicky said.
'yeh you said that it weasnt going to be a fling,but it is isnt'Brodie said.
'Im sorry,but i love Lisa'Nicky said.
'Its ok,i understand,i mean why would you want me'Brodie said getting dressed.
'Brodie im sorry,i was drunk'Nicky said.
'Good bye Nicky'Brodie said closing the door.
brodie went to see Shane. 'Can i come in' she said threw the door
'Yeh sure'Brodie opened the door.
'Where have you been'He asked.
'I slept with Nicky'Brodie said.
'What?'Shane said.
'Look we got drunk and he said that it wasnt going to be a fling and then he said it was 'Brodie said.
'Brodie hes got Lisa and he loves her accept it'Shane said.
Brodie was sitting by the pool alone.Nicky went out to see her.
'Brodie'He said.Brodie didnt answer. Nicky sat down beside her.
' I am sorry'He said.Brodie looked at him.Nicky couldnt help think how pretty she was.
'Nicky dont bother saying it,last night you came on to me and i said no first of all coz i didnt want a fling,but you said no its not a fling,but yes it was'Brodies eyes were filling up with tears.
Brodie ran inside,pushing past Shane.Shane looked at Nicky.
'What have you done to her'Shane shouted.
'Nothing'
'Then why is she crying'Nicky just walked off.
'BRODIE'Shane shouted through the house.He found her in the kitchen.
'Look go,you will only see him and get upset.I will call you tomorroe=w sweetie'Shane said.
'Ok thanx'Brodie gave Shane a hug and she left.
***RING RING***
'Hello'Brodie said.
'Its Bexi can i come round'She asked.
'If you want'Brodie said.
'Ok give me half an hour'
'Bye'Brodie put the phone down.HALF AN HOUR LATER.***KNOCK KNOCK***
'Where did u get to last night'Bexi asked Brodie.Brodie just started to cry.
'B whats up'Bexi asked.
'Well you know i went to school with Shane from Westlife'
Bexi nodded.
'Well i met up with him and westlife and well we went to Nickys house and i ended up sleeping with Nicky'Brodie said.
'But hes got a girlfriend'
'I know,Thats the bad thing'Bexi hugged her.
'Look sorry hun,ive got to get to work'Bexi said.
'Ok ill ring you tonight'Brodie said closing the door.
Brodie didnt understand why she was feeling so upset,it was a one night stand. She couldnt help wondering if Josh was feeling like this.Brodie thought she loved Josh.Brodie phoned him.
'Hi Josh it me'brodie said.
'Hello'
'Look babes,ive been thinking we shouldnt throw away 2 years'Brodie said.
'I agree'
They decided to meet up.
Brodi ewas waiting for Josh to turn up.She was in a pub by Nicky house coz she knew Nicky comes in here on Saturdays with the other guys as it was there day off.Brodie had made herself look gourgeous.
'Hello'Josh said to Brodie.
'Hi'
'Drink'He asked her.
'Yeh can i have a ........'Brodie started.
'A G+T we went out for 2 years i think id know what drink you drink'Josh said.Brodie smiled,then the smile went when she saw Bryan,Kian and Nicky.She had wanted to see them,but now they were here she didnt. Then Mark and Shane turned up.
Shane walked over to Josh. Brodie could see they were aruing,then Shane hit Josh.
'SHANE'Brodie shouted running over to Josh on the floor.
'Brodie are you with him?'Shane asked.
'yeh we are trying to sort things out,Why the f**k did u hit him'Brodie asked.
'Because of what he did to you'Shane said.
'Well you didnt need to hit him'Brodie said.
'Whats going on'Bryan said.Kian and Mark had walked over aswell.
'This is Josh,the one who cheated on Brodie'Shane said.Josh finally stood up.
Bryan hit him and a fight broke out.
Brodie ran out.No one noticed apart from Nicky.He went after her.
'Brodie'Nicky said.
'What'Brodie answered.
'Who was that'Nicky asked.
'My ex-boyfriend'Brodie said.
'Are you to back on then'Nicky asked.
'What do you care'Brodie said.
'Brodie,i like you'Nicky said.
'Shut up'
'No seriously,i dont regret last night one bit'Nicky said.
'Well you've got Lisa'Brodie said.
'Come with me'Nicky said taking Brodies hand.
they went back to Nickys house and wellyou know,they slept with each other.This was the start of a relationship.Brodie,Bexi,Shane and Nicky were the only people who knew.
Brodie and Nicky slept with each other when ever Nicky was home from touring.
Nicky loved Brodie so much,but he couldnt break up with Lisa after alomost 7 years.
Every spare minute Nicky had he spent it with Brodie.
He was at home with Lisa.
'Nicky'Lisa said.
'Mmmmm'Nicky answered,he was in the middle of texting Brodie.
'Nicky'Lisa said again.
'yes Bro,i mean Lisa'Nicky said.
'What were you going to call me'Lisa said.
'Bro'
'Why bro'She asked.
'Oh because,me and the guys call each other bro or bruv'He said trying to cover up.
'So its not after Brodie'
'Brodie'Nicky said trying to stop smiling.
'Yes brodie'Lisa answered.
'Where did you get that name from'Nicky asked her.
'You and Shane always talk about her'Lidsa said.
'Oh she is some bird Shane fancys'Nicky said covering up.
'But why did you call me bro'She asked again.
'Look i told you ,so stop it ok'Nicky shouted walking off.
'Nicky stop'Lisa shouted out the door,
Nicky just carried on walking,he had to see Brodie,he missed her so much.
***KNOCK KNOCK***
'Shes in the bathroom Nicky'Bexi said answering Brodies door.
'Look Bex hun,will you give me and Brodie some alone time cause we need to talk'Nicky said seriously.
'Yeh sure.Brodie ill see you later,Nickys here'Bexi said closing the door.
'Hiya babe'Brodie said running uo to give Nicky a hug.She went to kiss him,he turned away.
'Brodie dont'He said.
'What i only wanted a kiss'She said.
'Look sit down we need to talk'He said.
'Ok its bad cause whenever a boy says we need to talk its bad,so go on say it'Brodie said.
'Say what'Nicky said.
'Say that its over'Brodie said.
'Im sorry,but i cant handle it.Look im sorry,but it is over.'Nicky said.
'Ok i understand'Brodie said filling up with tears.
'Can we still be mates'Nicky said.
'No,i want you'Brodie said.
'Well i cant,i have to be with Lisa,shes pregnant'Nicky said.
Brodie couldnt take it anymore,she ran out of her own house.Nicky went after her.
'Brodie' Nicky Shouted.
Brodie started to run away from him.
Brodie 's ankles were killing her by now, and she made a mental note never to run in heals again.
Brodie tripped.
'Im sorry'Nicky said looking at Brodie.
'Nicky dont,you want to be with Lisa then its fine by me'Brodie said.
'But i dont i love you,its just shes pregnant and i want to be with her coz of the baby'Nicky said.
'Nicky im pregnant aswell'Brodie said.
'You cant be'Nicky said.
'Yes i am,thats what i was doing when you came,i was going to tell you today and then you broke up with me.You cant go back on your choice now.You've picked Lisa and thats final.Goodbye Nicky,i will always love you'Brodie said.
And with that, Brodie walked away. The sound of blaring horns, and a bright light meant that Nicky was indeed too late, because only seconds later,Nicky found Brodie lying lifelessly in the middle of the road.
