BACK		Love Will Stand The Test Of Time

Chapter 1

It was 4 days before Westlife performed at Lansdown road, one of their biggest gigs in their career.Everyone was buzzing abour it and couldn't stop talking about how their dreams were comming true.

In one of the bunks in the tour bus Shane had just woken up,even though he did not get much sleep that night. He had not being feeling well and as he got up, he got a piecing pain in his chest, as if it was in a vice being tightened. He gasped aloud as the pain subsided a little bit.

"Mmmmmh this is not right, this hurts too much, that's it i am going to go to the doctor's about this,mmmhh better not let Nichola know just yet may worry her, hell it's worring me" said Shane to himself as he got dressed still grimacing in agony.

Everyne else was at breakfast. There was Nichola, Bryan with his girlfriend Mandy, Kian with his fiancee Rachel,Valerie with her husband Mark and Nicky with his girlfriend Zoe.

When Shane appeared Bryan went "Oh look what the cat dragged in, hello sleepy head decided to join us hmmm,has that Nichola kept you up all night then?" he said laughing whilst winking at Nichola.

"Very funnny Bryan... No didn't sleep very well last night, problarly nerves about this gig"

"Are you all right Shaney?" said Nichola stroking his head,whilst trying not to go bright red as Bryan was making faces at her.

"I'm fine honstely" Shane said trying to sound convincing. The pain in his chest was still giving him cause for worry and it was getting worse.

"Listen Guys, I have to pop out in a bit, won't be that long, need to do something"

"WHAT!!!!!!! Are you crazy Shane" said Jake dropping a plate to the floor.

"No, I forgot to get something important, I won't be long"

"All right but you be careful you know what happened to Kian in his home town"

"Thanks Jake for bringing that up again" said Kian angrily

"Soorry Kian no dis-crept but I have to look after yout personal safety. Ok Shane you can go but be careful"

Kian was still in huff with Jake and didn't say a word. Meanwhile Shane agrreed and grimaced in pain as the pain in his chest worsened


Chapter 2

At the doctors

It was 3.10pm by the time Shane got to the doctor's surgery. All the way there he kept thinking to himself" everything is going to be ok everything is going to be ok".

After annoucing himself to the receptionist Shane sat in the waiting room twilding his thumbs and trying to ignore the pain in his chest. Shane felt that everyone in the waiting room knew who he was and were staring at him. He sighed aloud and picked up a magazine and began to read.

"Mr Filan?" said a tall looking nurse
"Yes that's me" replied Shane standing up.
"You can go in now, the doctor can see you"

Shane walked over to the doctor's door and heisated at opening the door. He felt stupid as this was problarly ingestion. A tall man wearing glasses greeted Shane as he went in and said
"Hello Mr Filan, My name is Doctor Freeman, please take a seat"
Shane did so and the doctor continued
"Now Mr Fian what's seems to be the problem"
"Well Doctor, this is problarly nothing but for the last few days I have not being feeling myself and this morning I have been getting these pains in my chest and also I have been feeling breathless" Shane replied feeling really silly
"I see" Said the doctor "Any other syptoms like dizness or nausea,pins and needles?"
"Urm, yes a few pins and needles Why?!!" said Shane worringly.
"Hmmmm, Right lets have a checkup of you, can you go to the couch and remove your top"

Shane undressed to his waist showing his toned body and muscles and lay down on the couch. The doctor did loads of tests and with every minute Shane was getting more and more worried.
"Right Mr filan, You can get dressed now, I think you should go to the hospital for furter tests. I will make a appointment for 3 days time"
"Why is something bad, tell me please" Ssid Shane almost crying.
"I am not sure at this priece moment, the hospital will be able to tell you more in 3 days time"
"Ummm 3 days did you say?"
"Yes is that a problem?"
"Urmm yes, you see i'm in a band and we are performing at our biggest gig in 4 days time and need time to rehe****"
"What band is that?"
"You mean you have never heard of Westlife then?"
"Noo not my cup of tea, my daughter likes them,her favourite is Shane"
"That would be me"
"Ohh!! I see, well i will phone the hospital now and see if I can get you in earlier"

The doctor phoned the hospital and was able to make a appointment for the same day
As Shane left the room to make his way to the hospital he turned to the doctor and said
"Doc I would apprieace it that you don't tell anyone I was here"
"Of course doctor paintent confiendtly"
"Thanks

Hospital

When Shane arrived at the hospital and went to the room, he had never felt so scared in his whole life.
"Hi I've got a appoitment with Dr Brown"
"Hi Mr Filan we have been waiting for you go right in" said a nurse

Shane went inside and Dr Brown set to work with loads of tests like testing blood,heart rate and body movement
"Right Mr Filan, We should have the results of your tests by tommorow"
"Thannnkss"
"Would you like to contact you at the venue or your mobile?"
"My mobile, why how did you know I was performing live?"
"Mr Filan, Shane.... my daughter is a massive fan and always plays your video's so it is easy to regonise u"
"Thankkss... again appireacte it"

As Shane walked out of the hospital, his heart was racing. As he sat in his car seat, he broke down into floods of tears.He was saying to himself" I am going to be allright"
