'Westlife's new single 'World of Our Own' is out today. 'World Of Our Own' is a joyous up-tempo smash, produced by Steve Mac (written by him and his cohort Wayne Hector.) CD1 also features, 'Crying Girl', a new track written by Westlife and produced by Bryan McFadden and Steve Robson. A remix of the heart rendering song, 'Angel' , is accompanied by a CD Rom of the video. CD2 includes another new track, 'I Promise You That', and the CD Rom of the 'World Of Our Own' video plus interview footage.
If the new single makes it to the summit of the UK charts it will be the band's 10th, yes 10th, number 1 UK single. You know what to do!!!

Kerry Katona, wife of Westlife singer Bryan McFadden has undergone painful surgery to remove a cyst from one of her ovaries. The ex-Atomic Kitten star was rushed to London's Chelsea and Westminister Hospital on Monday. She was released from hospital on Thursday. Kerry was comforted in hospital by Bryan and his mum Mairead who flew from Dublin to look after the couple's five month-old baby, Molly.

Bryan McFadden said: 'Kerry cannot walk and will be off work for a month. But she is on the road to recovery. It's going to take a time to get over.'

21-year-old Kerry is the presenter of Channel 5's Exclusive show. Kerry and Bryan wed in a glittering �100,000 ceremony in Co. Meat. They live in a �1m home in Delgany, Co.Wicklow and have a flat in London's Chelsea.

Westlife have been celebrating their success after picking up a Brit Award last night for Best Pop Act.

Sophie Ellis Bexter presented the lads with the statue at the star studded event at Earls Court last night and the boys were delighted to have been chosen over the other nominees.

And to cap their week, midweek chart sales figures show that it looks like it could be a tenth number one this weekend with their single 'World Of Our Own'.

Platinum members will be able to hear an exclusive interview with the boys recorded backstage last night, minutes after they won the award.

And remember to look out for Westlife this evening at 8pm on ITV1 on the Brit Awards show.
