What Else is Here?
In addition to the Westlock Pioneer Museum, the restored swimming pool building located at 10216-100 Street in Westlock, Alberta is home to Westlock's Visitor Information Centre.  This is the place to go if you are unfamiliar to Westlock, or if you want to get information about traveling to other parts of Alberta or Canada.  It has dozens of free booklets and brochures,  and sells souvenirs and road maps of Canadian provinces at very reasonable prices.

Adjoining the Westlock Pioneer Museum is the scenic Lindahl Park.  The park was named after the prominent Westlock couple who donated the land to the town in 1969 to use for the public's enjoyment.  A rock monument was erected in 1975 to honour the Lindahls for their contribution to the town of Westlock.  It is a popular spot to take wedding pictures, and the perfect spot to sit down and have a picnic after traveling all day or strolling through the Pioneer Museum.
