What's Coming ...
	Come and have a treat! World class professional speaker Jim Key will come to speak to our new club on July 19th, 2003! Jim will be "practicing" his world championship speech for the International Contest in Atlanta this Fall. Follow this link to know more about Jim Key.

	Memory expert Ron White's special presentation. Come and see advanced speaking skills in action - how an experienced speaker uses the various techniques in a "semi-commercial" demonstration. Date: TBD.
Major Milestones
	June 13th - Club meeting location secured; June 19th - Jim Key "practice" scheduled; June 20th - CIE agreed to provide financial support to the new club; June 21st - Club building web (this site) in production; June 25th, Capital One Auto Finance agreed to provide financial support to the new club; June 28th, Four club builders received direct training from Toastmasters International; June 30th, Club Sponsors and Club Mentors candidates secured; July 1, Dr. Christopher Parr signed up to be a members of the new club; July 3, $500 worth of club supplies paid for by Capital One.

	July 5th - Club preparation activist meeting, 9:00 AM, Chris Parr library; July 12th - Speechcraft workshop to start, first session; July 19th - Speechcraft workshop, 2nd session; Special Invitational Speech by Jim Key. November 7th - 20th meeting - Club relocation to Capital One building.
