Hi, everyone!
Well, we did it! Somewhere around 80 people attended our 35th reunion, and it looked like everyone was enjoying getting reacquainted (as well as enjoying the food). There were some surprises (like Dick Atwater showing up--looking great!) and a lot of laughing and reminiscing. We sure didn't look like a bunch of "old people" (to Al Milton's relief).
Karen Dyer won the prize for coming the farthest--she arrived from Kenya only days before the event. (Others traveled quite a distance, too--Glenna Kleppin came from Hawaii, and Donna Richwine Sansbury had just returned from an extended stay in Southeast Asia.) Bill Harris (easily!) won the "least hair" competition, while Bonnie (Beck) had the longest hair. Dennis Wisner's birthday was closest (the next day...July 15), and Glenn Thompson had the most grandchildren (9). And, of course, Verna Hull Messer was awarded the "best reunion coordinator" prize!
Below are a few photos from the event...with more to come as we can get them up. Just click on the small image to see a larger version of the picture. If you can name anyone not identified in the captions, please e-mail the information!
If you attended the reunion and snapped some good pictures, please, please e-mail or send copies to us for this section of the website! Thanks,
Diane

Thanks so much to Verna Hull Messer, for coordinating the reunion again this year!
If you have questions or suggestions for our next reunion (the 40th! in 2006), Verna's phone number is (509) 966-3616, or (as of fall, 2003) e-mail her at twowizzys@msn.com.
And thanks, too, to the other committee members who helped make sure our 35th was a success. They are (in addition to Verna):
