Welcome to the West Wyoming Volunteer Hose Company #1 web page. Hose Company #1 is one of two departments that provide fire protection to the citizens of West Wyoming, Pennsylvania. West Wyoming is located in Luzerne County Pennsylvania, in the Northeast section of the state. West Wyoming is 1 sq mi in size and has a population of approximately 3800 people. We currently have an ISO Rating of 5. Hose Company #1 belongs to the West Side Mutual Aid Association and the Greatert Pittston Mutual Aid Association. We currently have 33 active firefighters with many others who are not active firefighters, but still are great assets to this organizaiton.
