This is where it began. Located sitting on a shelf in a friends shop. The legendary Strip Dominator intake for a 4V Cleve. Oh, the possibilities!! |

Those big 4V heads and that awesome intake want to flow! What better way to accomodate that other than a long arm Eagle crank. 4340 Steel crank provides a 3.75 inch stroke. That's a full quarte inch more than stock. |

The crank facilitates use of these Eagle Rods. 6.125" in length and as strong a rod as a naturally aspirated engine should need. |

The crowning jewel of the assmbly are these custom built CP Pistons. Wrist pin is relocated up higher and slightly protrudes into the oil ring. The CNC'd dome will provide 12:1 compression. |

These babies weigh in at a paltry 411 grams a piece!! Utilizing low tension rings, keeping everything as light as possible without sacrificing strength, we should be freeing up a few ponies. |
Other goodies in the long block include last year's heads, which include Comp Cams double springs, titanium retainers, 10 degree locks, stainless valves, and roller rockers. The camshaft is on it way, custom ground by Comp. Other misc. parts include ATI damper, MPG windage tray and scraper, and hours upon hours blueprinting the 4-bolt block's oiling system, balancing everything just right, and meticulous assembly. |
After losing a Solid cam on break-in we decided to go full roller. A solid roller custom ground by Comp Cams offers up 280 degrees duration at .050 and .750 valve lift. We topped it all off with a 2" open carb spacer and a 950 Stage V Bigs carb. |
