| Prompts for the Next Contest: A Computer dating Agency has arranged a meeting between two people. There has been some mistake in the files. Two people work together in a shop. Their relationship is one of mutual irritation. The silent warfare between them is conducted through petty incidents and routines in the shop. One of them decides to humiliate or crush the other with a carefully laid plan. The plan, however, backfires. You are in an elevator and it suddenly stops. Who else is there? How do you get out? Make it absurd and unrealistic as possible. Write a short story involving a pick-up truck, lipstick and a silver earring. Write a letter to "Monday" expressing complaints you have toward it. Include personal reasons. |
